Re: Rant Thread

I have a friend who is very emotionally draining to spend time with. I'm pretty certain I'm her only friend who's not closely related to her, her mother (for whom she was an unofficial carer) died late last year, and she's currently going through having to sell off her house and find a flat.
She's also got some really annoying habits - like she talks about wanting to lose weight, and gets lapband surgery even, but eats ridiculous amounts of sweets; and she's always the one who picks a time to meet, but she's always late by at least ten minutes. Just today we were late to the start of a movie because she hadn't been paying attention to the time and didn't leave the house until five minutes after she was supposed to have picked me up.

I feel bad about it, but every time we say goodbye, I heave a sigh of relief.
