RWBY

So I just got caught up on the latest of RWBY.

Fucking hell, why is everything I watch, no matter how happy it starts, why is everything always bounds to turn in to miserable depressing shit?

Can someone pleeeeease recommend something to take the taste away? I'm so fucking sick of this. Fucking everything. Fucking everythi0ng I pick up leaves me so miserable I can't even be bothered.

SA

there's just no point is there? There's just no fucking point getting execited about anything because it always has to have "Realism" and that always means "Let's get some misery in there! That's what people who can't cope with life and want to escape want, they want more misery!"

The difference is that unlike life, people in fiction usually prevail over their misery. That's the escapism part, the lie of hope.

There's nothing stopping you from skipping out of either one, though. I'd ask you to tell me how that worked out for you but I have a feeling I already know the answer.

I don't know if you're still watching this, but I get how you feel. I highly suggest Yokai Watch; it's a really cute show with likable characters and very few unresolved plotlines by the end of the episode. There are a couple of sad ones (the episode regarding Jibanyan's past takes a few more episodes to resolve, and it can definitely be upsetting if you don't know that it has a happy ending to it), but as far as I've seen, it really is just charming and a great happy place.

Tentatively, I'd also suggest Osomatsu-san, but that would only work for you if you can get behind people being absolute garbage, haha. It's hilarious, one of the few anime recently to genuinely make me laugh, though there are a couple of somber moments in it too. For the most part, though, just funny-- though admittedly the humor can be extremely off-color. It just depends on your sense of humor, really.
