Re: Twitter

I'm so-so with Twitter. I don't use it much, but I don't bring my personal life into Twitter. I use it as an extension of fandom. I mostly follow celebs (both big stars like Stephen Colbert and smaller entertainers like Todd in the Shadows) I like, news sources (like Vice), fandom related stuff, and my fandom friends. I don't have anyone I know IRL on my Twitter.

I like Twitter because I get a lot of information, and it's fun to read people's thoughts and jokes during a big event (the Super Bowl was so much fun! I missed out on the Grammy's). I also use the DMs to have deeper convos unrelated to fandom with a fandom friend I'm really close with, so that's nice.

But on the other hand, I don't see much use for it beyond that. People tend to like to take photos of things going on in their daily lives or share stupid things that make them laugh, so I can see why things like Facebook or Instagram are more appealing.
