I suppose it's easier for you to ship characters (Poe hardly even counts as a character) who knew each other for 2 minutes and had barely any interaction than ones with a canon one-sided affection?
In this case, definitely yes. While Poe's and Finn's interactions are low in time spent, they're high in emotional intensity. And a one-sided crush pings my shippy tendencies a lot less frequently than a mutually affectionate relationship (whatever that mutual relationship might be: romantic, friendship, frenemy, etc.).
Would you still have this mindset if Rey were male?
Maybe, maybe not. Otoh, I also might not have had this mindset if a different actress had played Rey, or if Ridley had played Rey slightly differently. (The "stop holding my hand" part, for instance. Ridley's tone of voice sounded exasperated to me, but if she'd said those lines with a different intonation, they might not have given me such strong anti-ship feels.) I don't think it's really possible to speculate; all I can say is that I don't ship the version of Rey and Finn that we got in TFA.
