but but but...Lineage II is SO addictive.

If a GAME comes between you...maybe you weren't such great friends to begin with.

But when it's all a friend does, all they talks about it is the game and their addiction to it. When I go out to visit and we spend three weeks playing the game instead of doing something fun, um, yeah.

We were great friends before this game. Now I have to log onto the game just to say hi.

OH MY GOD what the hell that is the worst ever. I just went through that with a friend, only instead of playing a game she was RPing. On her computer, on her phone. I couldn't get her to give me the time of day and I was staying with her. For a measly week. I wanted to snatch her phone and throw it out of the car.

It is addictive (but I am prone to addictions). I had that problem with the game too but she refuses to see that she has a problem. Logging in simply to be able to say, "Hi! Remember me?" is pretty pathetic and sad. I shouldn't have to do that, should I?

Maybe you're right and we weren't great friends to begin with. I can handle that. Friends do come and go after all whether we like it or not. What worries me more is that she's letting this affect her life to the point that she may (if not already has) get kicked out of college. Though I do believe it's more her addiction than the game itself that's her problem.

And yeah, I am tired of fighting for her attention then made out to be the bad guy for letting her forget that I exist.

I see your point, and indeed it's rather pathetic, you shouldn't HAVE to do that.

Did you tell her exactly what you think? Don't fight for her attention, just simply free your heart, for her sake but for yours as well. If you already did, and she ignored you...I'm afraid there's not much left that you can do.
