Another Aoi House secret! I am a total Alex/Elle shipper (and Sandy Maria). I used to spend a lot of time on the gomanga forums and I must say that the rabid Morgan fans and Alex/Morgan shippers made me hate her. Now that I don't frequent there anymore I don't mind her so much, but I still think she's a total burikko. I think it is the fans on the forum that pushed the whole pastede on Alex/Morgan. Sorry to ramble on with my thoughts on Yaoi House.

It's pasted on very badly. I don't see them as a couple at all. It looks like he's just humoring her and other people are flinging her at him.

At the midnight dance, when she kissed him on the cheek and the guy from Uri House said: "they really do make a cute couple," it seemed like they were desperately trying to convince us that this was a good pairing. Heh, a part of me thought that line was written just for me because, in the past, I was quite a vocal objector to Alex/Morgan on the GoManga forums. The majority of people on the board worship Morgan and love the pairing, so I have a bad feeling that it will happen in a very tacked on sort of way. And dropping the whole tension with Elle thing saying "oh she only wanted him because she couldn't have him" seems like a bad attempt to tie up loose ends. Alex/Elle actually had conflict and growth and potential.

Wow, rambled on a bit there. In any case, I still like the manga and I do like how the Sandy/Maria situation was handled. They are very cute.

Haha, yes. I knew it was going to go up this week, so when I saw Aoi House secret Tuesday I kind of blinked and had to look twice. Quite the coincidence, that!

I've only ventured the forums to post my thoughts on a page, never to do more. :) I personally dislike Morgan because of her personality; I've run into more than one fan who acts just like her and I've always wanted to just smack them a good one and tell them to lay off the sugar >>;; A little bit of silliness is fine, but when you're only calm for two hours out of an entire week, that's taking it a bit far...

At any rate, I have to say I actually agree with you and

srsfnbsns on the matter! It really does seem to me more like Alex/Morgan is a brother/sister or friendshippy or humored relationship; it's just the recent bits--actually mostly with Elle!--that have made me wonder if it won't turn out being Alex/Morgan in the end after all :\ Which is depressing, because the facets of that one just don't seem nearly as interesting as Alex/Elle always has to me! (I used to be a big fan of a pairing that was quite similar. ~~Scarily/coincidentally enough, their appearances were even similar, and we started writing the pairing way back around late 2004...~~ I'm perfectly willing to admit that that could also influence my takes on the pairings, but oh, the dynamics are so much fun...!

And I seem to have rambled on a little bit, myself! Sorry about that!

I still can't help but blame the fans on the forum for the way the pairings have gone. It's the only explanation I can think of why the story would seem so strongly to be headed towards Alex/Elle and then just drop it and shove Alex/Morgan in our faces. Oh well, I doubt the series will end with anyone married so there is always potential for fanfiction. I still love Elle and I love Maria.
