When I was new to fandom, there was a kind of fanfic that just pretty much recapped an episode or chapter from one of the characters’ POVs. I’m really sad this just disappeared, whenever a scene would just blow my mind or give me "all the feels" those fics helped me cope.

I blame fandom’s new obsession with that everything that gets published has to be "good".
