Even after all this time, Eekie' costume still skeeves me out.

Edit: never mind. His entire character skeeves me out and I remember why I dropped this comic. Now I have to go wash my eyeballs with bleach.

Just looked this up. It's definitely not good art, but I wouldn't call it unexpectedly bad, if that makes any sense. A lot of reasonably popular comics like Dominic Deegan or The Dragon Doctors have art like this.

I can't be too critical of this art because my drawings are about two steps away from looking like this, and they haven't changed much over the years either. XD

But yeah, a ton of people draw anime that looks like this, especially when they are starting out.
