No...? Why? Hermoine's a frickin' teenager, I don't care how smart she is she isn't on an adult level. Plus Snape isn't that intelligent anyway apart from the purely academic sense. He doesn't have any of the emotional intelligence Hermione shows in, for example, book 4 with Harry and Ron's fight, or book 5 with Cho's emotional problems.

And Snape has NEVER shown a hint of respect or understanding for Hermione's intelligence. He constantly calls her a show-off and silly and by all evidence he believes it, not just says it to be cold or something. He shows Harry more "respect" (in the "Potter's such a capable and sneaky troublemaker, I totally believe he could pull off xyz shit" sense) than Hermione, who he pretty much dismisses.
