YES!! Then again, no one will ever top King George Strait. I still listen to his hits from the 80s and 90s. I think he has 61 number ones? It's crazy!

Country people seem significantly more prolific than any other genre. Except maybe Taylor Swift and she started out in country.

They definitely have the ability to take a few years off and then come back and their fanbase is still there. Look at Garth Brooks still selling out arenas. Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire have been recording for years. I mean, look at Dolly Parton! Everyone still loves her.

I think there might actually be something wrong with you if you don't love Dolly Parton. I mean, I don't particularly care for her music, but she's just so sweet and happy all the time! She has had the same best friend since she was 10 and when they get asked if they're secretly together, they don't get angry they just laugh and talk about how close they are.

Dolly Parton is cool. My mom's liked her for years, so I've kinda grown up seeing things like '9 to 5' and hearing a few of her songs and whatnot, and yeah, she's always come off as very likable and personable. She'd be fun to hang out with and talk about whatever for an afternoon :).
