I know myself and Caerbannog are the two named users who are Australian. I think she's in Melbourne, while I'm in Brisbane.


Maybe folk who live more in country towns still do, but I get the feeling at least in the big cities that using "G'day" or "mate" has fallen a bit out of fashion. I suspect it's at least partly due to American TV.

I honestly don't support any team, though I have to say it's easier to buy Maroons M&Ms during State of Origin season.

I don't watch it, but I still have to deal with all the ugly car stickers and various family members from QLD sending me drunk texts about it. Because ~rivalry!!! ?

Actually on a whole, I kinda don't see why I need to take a side, because I'm both a Queenslander and a NSWelsh-woman. I grew up mainly in Lismore before I moved up here, and unlike Mum, I haven't bothered to adopt the Maroons, because I didn't particularly support the Blues when I still lived down there.

And I do wish the Blues M&Ms could be found more easily around here, blue happens to be my top favourite colour.
