Yeah, same. I'm in it for the bickering [and the time travel fic]. Fics can play fast and loose with their characterizations but eh, I have yet to see a non-canon HP ship that doesn't have a least a little OOC going on.

The only thing that I don't like about Snape/Hermione is the Lily!bashing. Ruins a lot fic for me :/

But the Harry and Weasley family bashing is a-okay.

Those aren't nearly as common as Lily-bashing in Snanger fic.

Same. I'm not a fan of any Snape ships tbh, most of them seem to have some version of Weasley-bashing (or other character bashing, generally Marauders and/or Dumbledore) but Snape/Hermione has that plus the Marauder/Dumbledore bashing plus the Harry-bashing, and on top of the already skin-crawling aspect of Snape and Hermione together...it's a heaping pile of fuck no.

Where did I say that? And I can't remember any Harry!bashing in a Snermione fic that I've read. Weasley!bashing happens but not as often as Lily!bashing. It annoys me most when Lily is bashed because she doesn't even want Snape. It's not like she's going to burst in and break up the ship.

Plus, Ron gets bashed in pretty much any non-Romione Hermione pairing. It's not unique to Snape/Hermione.
