~ is for emphasis because I can't be bothered with italics.

What do you have against typos? I type like that, deal with it. I give you my permission to skip all my comments if they stress you so much. Go take a walk to calm down, jeez.

Your typo + using tildes in place of italics gave your comment a very sarcastic air. It also looked like you were replying to another comment in my browser, I apologize. I thought you were another one of the users who were shitting all over secret OP and getting really uppity without once actually asking actual trans people what we feel about this sort of thing.
