Men's fashions from the 1910s-1940s just have a sort of strait-laced and "proper"/conservative-gentleman look to them that hits all of my buttons and it amps up majorly when there are slashy things afoot. I think it's because I have a kink for majorly-repressed-but-secretly-super-passionate dudes.
