Recently, a C-drama called Nirvana in Fire/Lang Ya Bang. 54 episodes of an intense emotional rollercoaster that finishes up with the most cathartic heart-ripper of an ending I've ever seen in my life. I've watched it three times now, and every single time I've spent the last three or four episodes bawling my fucking eyes out. The whole show is intense once it hits stride, there's a sequence of episodes in the middle where you can't breathe for suspense, but those last few episodes ... One day soon I will watch them without crying. I swear I will.
