They would be, they totally would. Even aside from Hinata, Kageyama and Nishinoya, who don't care beyond VOLLEYBALL and Tsukishima who just doesn't care and Yamaguchi who is just precious (and won't care either if Tsukishima doesn't care); Tanaka is a big softie at heart, Asahi and his big glass heart would never be able to be mean to anyone (and wouldn't to stand up to scary!Daichi anyway, lol) and Suga is just genuinely nice and supportive, he wouldn't care at all.


I kind of see what you mean about Kenma and Kageyama but then I feel like we're doing that stereotypical thing again where it's like "if you're not shown burping, farting, and constantly talking about how your balls itch and what a MANLY MAN you are then you're not really a man". I like where people are subversive with FtM Kenma and he's the kind of guy who doesn't really feel the need to 'prove' to anybody that he's male, if they don't accept him as-is well then they're an asshole and just get written off (and they need to make sure Kuroo doesn't ever find them alone because there would be fisticuffs).

Well, the degree of subversion with FtM Kenma gets kinda lessened when it's only the small characters with delicate features get headcanoned as FtM, OP does have a point there. Plus, you don't see the introverted girl!nerd type too often, but I do see what you mean. I think it would just be easier to write Kenma as MtF then Tanaka, for example.

With Kageyama, like I wrote below, I'd actually really enjoy seeing an FtM story with him. His personality is actually pretty ripe for looking at it from an FtM view (he's so standoffish because he doesn't really get the whole "male camaraderie" thing and as a consequence of that he gets pushed further and further into his shell).

I never thought about it like that, but that's a great headcanon! It would also explain why he gets so much better at Karasuno, because there the team supports him, not just on the court but also socially. Now I want that fic. :/
