this is going to sound fucked up, but yeah, no. Your views are way too simplistic

Japan is still pretty conservative when it comes to trans/sexuality issues. You expect me to believe someone who is biologically female would be allowed on a boys' team? like, yeah, genitalia /shouldn't/ matter, but it sure as hell matters in the real world.

Also, even negating those logistics, I was on a sports team in high school, and I am all too aware of how males are biologically superior in terms of agility and strength. I was on a running team, and there was one girl who was fantastic. She was one of the best in the state. She was an excellent girl runner. Still, she could never be as good as even a boy runner who was just considered "good." I've read fics where Oikawa is a trans boy...you expect me to believe a biological female could have such great strength and power? I would totally have to suspend my disbelief. If you bring up the argument of trans boy, using testosterone, how the fuck would that be allowed? That would be considered doping.

So, yes, I have a difficult time believing that a trans boy would not only be allowed to compete on a team but also be able to match the others in terms of physical ability.

It wouldn't be doping cause their hormone levels would be similar to a cis-boy's... Just like the reverse argument that trans women are too powerful to be in women's sport is wrong cause hormone levels affect muscle development. And the rules of sporrts organizations are starting to shift to reflect that realization.
