Ugh, that sort of thing is the worst. I was following an artist on tumblr, and their webcomic was good! But they would reblog every creative thing they posted about ten times a day to make sure that people saw it, interspersed with whining about how nobody liked their art and they needed more followers and more support and more more more.

It just felt like... these non-existent followers you need aren't reading this. The people who are subjected to it? The people who have chosen to follow you. So I stopped following them.
