Some ground rules:

I just watched the first movie a few months ago. I'd seen 4, 5 and parts of 2 but never the first one. It was good!

The original Die Hard is just pure awesome! It's still one of the best action movies ever made. I don't know, Bruce Willis is just so good at being beaten up.

He really is. I think that's the problem with 5; he doesn't really get beaten up!
