Random TFA headcanon: I think Kylo Ren has basically been brainwashed from a young age into joining Snoke's "cult" and Han was trying to free him from it.

I also think Snoke is neither Sith nor Jedi but wants to destroy the Force itself. (But that's less a headcanon and me hoping they bring in something left-of-field.)

I agree on Kylo Ren.

Also, I think Leia will redeem him somehow. After stressing the importance of Leia and Han loving Kylo and wanting to save him, I can't see how that'll be thrown out. He'll probably die in the end though.

I agree about Kylo, and like the other anon said, I think Leia's love will redeem him. Whether that's redemption by death or not, idk.

I think it will probably be redemption by death, since he killed Han. My money's on him making a heroic sacrifice to save Leia (and possibly Rey).

I'm rooting for that to happen, because it'd be very thematically appropriate. TFA is all about the parallels with A New Hope. If that trend continues into episodes 8 and 9, it would be really fitting for the trilogy to end with Kylo sacrificing himself to save Leia - paralleling how Vader switched sides at last minute to save Luke in RotJ.

I thought that Kimblee would turn out to be Hohenheim's son with a previous woman before he met Trisha, because of his golden eyes and it would tie neatly to Roy wanting to meet him - and not just the Rockbell family - in the beginning.

I thought for sure Roy was going to try a human transmutation to bring Hughes back (like, I actually thought I'd been spoiled for that) but apparently I misread something. Because that did not happen.
