Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).

3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

After a youth of believing I hate science, I'm finally starting to realize I actually... kind of love it.

This has led me to believe that kids are set up to believe they either get it or they don't, which is really a damn shame. If I'd learned it then the way I'm learning it now, I probably would've gotten better grades.

I agree! I struggled so much with science in school, then picked up a "pop science" type book on a whim a few years ago, and found it incredible. I have been reading science stuff pretty regularly since then, and it's great and fascinating. I have to wonder how good my teachers were that they couldn't convey this passion for the field.
