Some ground rules:

Would you be open to having more people come to FS? What are your reasons? Also what would your ideas be for making it more popular?

Of course, why in the world not?

I can't say I'm tired of F!S per se... it's literally my only fandom, and my outlet to talk about non-fandom stuff online, too. I don't use any other forums. But I do think there are fewer and fewer of us, and we know each other too well. Any secret or comment, and I can already guess exactly what the reaction would be down to a word. We're not exciting.

I wonder when the newest member joined. I feel like most everybody here has been here for at least like two years or more.

I'd love new blood, to make things more interesting.

As long as it wasn't all at once, as that sometimes ruins comms. We actually have been nastier when there's been more people, which honestly isn't unusual for communities.

I wonder if it would help to post the most interesting/best looking secrets in the respective tumblr fandom tag with a link to the discussion...

it would need to happen shortly after they get posted though. and I'm not sure if we want to attract that kind of crowd. generally I can agree with some of tumblr's SJ opinions, but having a peaceful and polite discussion is not their strong point.

maybe if you post the secrets a day after it'll draw more people in without making the discussion explosive.

"Tumblr people" doesn't really mean anything, though. I know what you're referring to, but 99% of the people I follow are super cool & rational.

I think that would be cool. Not a whole flood of people though.

Yeah, just not a ton at once. I like this place and it'll eventually die without new blood. Uhhh shit.
