Some ground rules:

I play both the EN and the JP versions! I mostly play on Hard during events because I get too tired playing all EX all the time, not to mention I find EX more of a chore, than a game, so I prefer to keep things fun. I can full combo most EXs, but not consistently, so I usually only play them during the downtime between events.

My least favourite song on in the event line-up is Kodoku na Heaven. It never fails to ruin my combos.

Are you a thumbs player or do you play with your fingers? I found the part in Kitto Seishun ga Kikoeru much easier on my tablet, where I can play with my fingers, rather than playing on my phone with my thumbs.

I play with my index fingers actually. It surprised me when I found out this wasn't the norm.

I play on hard during events too. Playing on EX isn't relaxing like playing on hard is, and I do play the game to destress. I'll play on ex to get the bonuses/love gems/etc. during non-events, but if I'm playing a bunch of songs I stick to hard.

(Also SAME regarding Kodoku na Heaven. It is my least favorite song to play.)

I was surprised when I realized people could play with fingers! I just automatically started with thumbs. But hey, whatever works for people! I'm impressed how well some people play--there's videos on youtube where someone can FC EXs with one hand. And I'm just all '...how...'.

Hard is so much more relaxing, isn't it? And it's still a nice challenge, depending on the song.

(It is the WORST song to play. I wish that it was the daily instead of Kokuhaku Biyori, desu!, but then there wouldn't be a Hanayo solo in the regular rotation, so I get why it's there, but Kokuhaku Biyori is way more fun to play. I mean, I'm not great at songs like Dancing Stars on Me! either, but it's still more fun than Kodoku na Heaven? IDEK. I just don't find Kodoku na Heaven to be FUN in any way.)

I think Kodoku na Hell is harder on Hard than on Expert tbh. I nearly had a heart attack first time I got it in my line-up on Expert, but I managed to get through it alright.

I play with my fingers, but I do play on my phone. I think I just need to practice that song a bit more, I did better on it today than I did yesterday because I was expecting the part. I still stuttered a bit though. I had full support on but it didn't catch those notes because I missed them entirely!

I'm pretty sure it is too, though for different reasons. It's mostly the timing in Hard. I can see what I've got to do, but I can't nail it no matter how hard I try. The EX is scary but makes more sense with the rhythm, I think?

Hey, congrats on doing better! I wish full support caught misses, but I guess then it'd be too overpowered... Also, I'm impressed at anyone who can play with their fingers on their phone. I've tried and I just... can't.
