Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

I hate that being in a shipper clique frequently means it's easier for you to get ten times the hits, kudos, and bookmarks as something that's genuinely awesome but doesn't join the circlejerk.

One of my absolute favorite fic series gets almost NO notice and while the author stays upbeat I know it's eating them that they can't get more readers. I try to rec where I can, but if you're not in, well, sometimes there's nothing for it. it sucks.

I just hope they at least finish their series. I appreciate it at least. (I try to review when I can)

That does suck. I wish people didn't get so discouraged by low feedback. It's not a sign of writing badly but people frequently take it as such.

It might not be actually discouraging, but any feedback can help imo. The only currency the fanfic writer can really be given is people's time, and there often aren't a lot of easy tools to know that people have given you theirs and enjoyed doing it. And even if you have the hit counter, it's still a jump from raw numbers to knowing if it's worth it.
