Some ground rules:

DA. This is really, really common on tumblr these days. There's very few het couples who escape random people whining about "UGH, KILL THE HETEROS" or "UGH, HET PAIRINGS ARE BORING AND OPPRESSIVE BY DEFAULT."

Just a few of things I've seen on tumblr, often with some 50k of notes.

"I refuse to let the straights have my favorite character."

"How dare you interpret my favorite character as cis and straight."

and so on.


(It also edges into biphobia and panphobia a lot)
