I think it's clever, and I like the texture and atmosphere of it. In a lot of ways it's basically a really, really interesting way of doing a haunted house ghost story, and I super appreciate that. At the same time, I think it suffers from the Legacy of Moffat in a way that some other episodes (notably, for me, Silence/Forest) don't - it's a little harder to be impressed by its conceptual cleverness.

I agree that in emotional terms it's not much, though.
