How were your weekends, FS?

I bought some tulips on Friday night and have been enjoying them brightening up my front room all weekend.

I've been sick and bed-ridden and anxious all weekend so it hasn't exactly been anyone's idea of a picnic but that's just how life is sometimes

I was nowhere near as productive as I meant to be. I ended up laying in bed depressed waaaaay more than I meant to so like...

Pretty fair. I finished writing a fic and am editing it now. I finally worked up the courage to check my exam results this morning too, and I got first-class on all my modules, so I'm happy about that.

Thanks! I'm super relieved about it because I know my parents are really struggling to send me to uni and I don't want to let them down. I'm so glad I haven't so far ^^

I saw Beauty and The Beast at the cinema with a friend and her cute kids. And then I bought a lamp.

I'm back in Boston. Studying mostly. Staying at my sisters. The air mattress is broken, so I've had to sleep on a two person couch, so my back and hips are killing me. She also barely puts the heat on (and actually had the windows open today), so I'm freezing. Can't wait to get to the hotel on Tuesday.

Splatfest (Yeah Team Blue!), wrote a quick one-shot fic for a different fandom for once to actually good response.

What is a splatfest??

Oh, that's the 'every three weeks' or so competition nintendo hosts on Splatoon. For 24 hours we pick a team and fight against the other team for points!

Sleep schedule almost back to being one for a normal young adult.
Finished the Expanse, it was a pretty neat show, I may now have a thing for curly-haired spaceship pilots.
Came back from vacation by the sea, the weather was nice, the food was nice, I saw a lot of pretty and interesting things.
While I was away I received an e-mail from my old internship tutor. I wanted her out of my life in any way, shape or form. I have not opened the e-mail. I don't know how I will feel if I read it. Tempted to answer without reading something like "haven't killed myself yet" or "please don't e-mail me ever again".

I worked all weekend. There was a giant mountain of crap in the Customer Service back area that made it almost impossible to navigate. It's not there anymore. You're welcome, lazy-ass coworkers who let it get that bad.

I got violently sick and am still recovering. So not well.

Aw, that sucks. I hope you'll feel better soon.

I kept whole bowl of soup down today!

Visited my grandma and gave her a bunch of tulips. Her birthday was last monday, but I thought it'd be better to actually visit instead of just calling.

Also visited dad and my stepmom for a while. Other than that, I've done nothing of value.

I managed to get some of my laundry done yesterday but I started my period today so I have done nothing productive at all today.

Ugh. Bad period days are the worst.

I have a giant canker sore (ulcer) in my mouth and it's really fucking painful. I have a high pain tolerance, but this is something else. D:

I made a cake for my mom's birthday, although I haven't had any of it yet because eating hurts too much.

Tulips would smile if they could; they're the perfect flower.

I let the whole weekend go to waste, so I'm really upset with myself, and I don't even have flowers.
