IA, dreads are gorgeous on women as well, and I love long hair in general.

But I guess I'm one of the few people here that also doesn't have a problem with bald or shaved heads. (Again, women included.)

Not everyone can pull it off, but if you can...I am 100% good with it.

Oh man, glad it's not just me. Especially because my bf is a black guy with very close-shaved hair (not quite bald, but almost).

I guess I just don't really have much of a hair preference, as long as it's not unkempt or greasy, I like different lengths of hair just fine. I've never specifically been attracted to a guy with hair longer than a few inches but that doesn't mean I never would be, there just aren't that many of them. And there are some hairstyles I don't like, but that has less do to with length.

TBH I love hair, a lot, it's a pretty big part of what makes me attracted to someone, but that doesn't mean I haven't found people with short hair (or no hair) attractive. There are quite a few people who that look suits, and on the right person it can be just as hot as a carefully styled head of hair.

Frankly, some people look better with short hair, or no hair at all; it probably also helps that my taste is pretty varied, so I like a bit of everything.

Short hair, yes. No hair, no, at least not for me. Anyone I've ever found attractive without hair, though, has been because of their body and in spite of their hair. I've never ever seen someone who I thought looked good with a bald head.

Different strokes! There are some people I can't even imagine with hair. (Vin Diesel, LL Cool J, etc.)

I used to think I didn't like long hair on dudes because so many guys I knew irl who had long hair did not take care of it, but it turns out that if a guy actually maintains his hair properly I think it looks amazing.

Oh I'm with you there on the baldness front, some people I think it really suits and looks good, while others can't pull it off. It's all about the persons individual bone structure and face shape tbh.

But that's the same with any hair-style tbh.

Not exactly the same as real life people, but I remember lusting after all the long haired guys in anime, haha. So that started a trend, I guess.

You're very correct in that not all styles suit all people, no matter what we're talking about.

Anime gave me unrealistic expectations of long hair in general, god damn it. (I want my hair to swish through the air like it does in anime, why can't it dammit??)

Yeah I could never pull off a pixie-cut for example, my face is entirely the wrong shape for it, but a friend of mine looks absolutely fantastic with her hair that short but doesn't suit longer hair so much.

Anime gave me unrealistic expectations in many regards... (Though I'm constantly disappointed at my inability to flip my hair dramatically like anime characters.)

See, I think pixie-cuts are one of the cutest hairstyles in existence, but I feel like I would look hideous with one. I would love to be able to pull off a short style like that.

The lack of dramatic hair flipping irl is a travesty lbh.

Pixie-cuts are super cute it's true. I'd say you could try it out but I don't know how long it takes for your hair to grow once it's cut and I know all too well the disappointment of a hair-style decision gone wrong(and how annoying it is to grow cut hair back out).

Oh, you could find a pixie-cut wig and see how that looks!
