I just finished watching this on Netflix and I feel you.

Have you read the Revenge of the Sith novel? It's way better than the movie, I swear.

why yes i have, and if by 'better' you mean 'maked things even more soul-destroying' then i heartily agree. only not-tragic part was the passage about obi wan contemplating anakin's butt.

Yes, it makes it more soul-destroying but at least you get a sense of his downfall and how he became Darth Vader much better. I felt that the movie makes him come across as a whiny teenager but between the Clone Wars and the novel, you see just how he became the Darth Vader of the OT.

I have lots of feelings on Star Wars and could go on about it for days.

Have you watched any of Rebels? Or if you want some good laughs, the Lego Star Wars series has been fairly enjoyable.

That passage alone made me ship them so hard. Hell, that whole damn book made me ship them.

And now it's worse with the whole Obi-Wan/Satine bit and just....that poor poor man. He never gets a break.
