The fact that you focus on the low end of the spectrum says a lot more than the derailment here. I said that it applies across the board, it doesn't matter if it's a newbie writer or an established one. We all do what we have to in order to be read, and that involves reblogging stuff to make sure it gets the largest audience possible.

Why would you even follow creators if you aren't going to support things they create? If you're following someone, it's probably because you like what they post. You don't want to read shitty fic? Don't follow someone who writes it. Or, gasp, use a tag-blocking addition. There's your whole problem solved, most people tag it if it's a reblog from earlier in the day!
