If you're interested at all in depictions of polyamorous relationships there's a TON of fics featuring it in this fandom. It's not like you'd have to go out of your way to avoid them but I don't think I've ever seen so many polyamorous fics in a fandom

I think when it's portraying stuff that actually happened in history, it's fine, but when it's taking people who really existed & using them in porn and AU fics, it's weird as hell even when they're all dead.

I don't think RPF is creepy once the people involved and everyone who knew them personally is dead. And it's not *always* creepy if the people are alive or more recently dead, but it usually is.
