How is OP being petty though? I'm the GIANT RANT anon (go up a few comments). I want to know where everyone is getting their feelings that secret OP is literally worse than Hitler because they're looking to make their fandom experience all about porn, and they're taking the proper steps to make that happen. Nowhere does secret OP say "any author that doesn't give me porn BECAUSE I DESERVE IT ALL is a big doody head", and no where do they say EVERYTHING THEY CONSUME has to have porn in it. I see all these self-righteous comments like "oh so you think you're OWED porn?"...like where are people getting this fucking shit. No, secret OP doesn't think they're OWED porn, I would think that's obvious by them deliberately staying in the tags where porn is already guaranteed to be there. They're making sure they're not set up to be disappointed, ~oh how horrible of them~.

If people like the anon who created the lemon heart secret give secret OP extra incentive to stay where there is already porn? Who gives a shit, really? I think lemon heart anon was petty as fuck too, and they're getting a weird ass thrill out of it. At least this anon is just saying "this isn't the kind of author I want to support". I don't either. I think their secret was childish as hell, and I've seen this same kind of attitude from other authors as well, which I mentioned in another comment. If secret OP wants to only support smut authors? Cool. As a smut author (and massive reader) I approve, I'm tired of people acting like smut has no redeeming value whatsoever. Yeah, it does. If I can get someone off, or make them hot and bothered with my words? Cool with me, I've done my job!

Let secret OP do fandom how they want, for fuck's sake people.

Look, rant!anon, I get where you're coming from. You might notice that there's a trend on this comm for people to react with side-eye and more whenever somebody says they only consume one form/genre of media. We've had secrets about people who only read "literary literature", and the comments called them a snob. We've had people who say they only ever read fanfiction, and the comments criticized them. Pretty much every secret where the OP says they only read this one thing, people take umbrage with.
In this case, OP sounds really smug about their only reading porn (and btw, remember that there's a sizeable group of genfic-fans on this comm), and that stupid lemon secret OP was also really smug for no good reason.
Hell, if OP only reads smutty fanfic, who's to know? None of us follow them around.
Plenty of people here like smut, write smut, and read smut. Nobody minds that. Keep on truckin', and I'm sure you make your readers very happy (<=not sarcasm).
But since OP felt the need to smugly tell us that anything without smut is worthless, the comm is reacting.

I mean, what confuses the hell out of me is that you're doing the same thing that other anons are doing and inferring shit that secret OP never said. I'm another anon who reads probably like 98% smut. This isn't to say I'm not also reading interesting stories, but I am a lot more likely to read stories that also have a sex scene in there somewhere. It's satisfying to me personally. If people want to call me a "snob" or pass their stupid judgement on me for what I choose to fill my own spare time with, go right ahead, I'll just think they're dumb and move on.

But where in the world did you, or anyone else, get that the secret OP feels like anything that isn't smut is worthless. At the very most you could infer that secret OP doesn't personally like reading non-smut fics, except even then they mentioned if someone recs a good non-smut fic they'll read it. So I have no idea where all this "worthless" stuff comes from. :/
