Well, you know, it's not wildly unrealistic to think some fans will see it asap? If not here, then where? The chances of someone having seen it here are larger than in the general populace.

I'm going to guess it's... the kind they can have with people just like themselves, fans so dedicated they'd turn out for a movie the day it's released.

People like to talk about things they've enjoyed, and those threads get responses so it's not like they're a waste of time.

(I just avoid them if I haven't seen the thing in question).

Obviously if there is discussion then some people have something to say about it. Just because you aren't in on it doesn't mean other people should wait up for you.

What you mean is that you feel left out and want to quash all discussion until you've seen it so you can ensure your oh-so important thoughts will be the first heard. Be honest with yourself about the hate for early discussions.
