I actually heard this song on the radio a bunch of times before I watched the music video and actually listened to the lyrics, and yeah - that was a LOT more Ramsay Bolton than I expected...

Blank Space is also incredibly tongue in cheek and does not - by Swift's own account - actually express her true feelings or opinions about love or relationships. It's a send up of the clingy, unstable Veela-like character you would get if you amalgamated all the media's negative speculation about Swift into one completely bonkers woman.

Everybody's clear on that by this point, right?
