Republicans have barely done any digging at all on Trump -- they're now scrambling to pull together opposition research, but it might be too late. If they've so thoroughly ignored Trump, it stands to reason that they probably haven't done much opposition research on Sanders, either.

And if it's up against Clinton, they've already exhausted 20 years of ammo on her and she's still here.

I have been really confused as to why it's taken Republicans so long to go and find dirt on Trump. I guess it's better late than never, but nobody has been calling him out. Even the Dems have pretty much given him a free pass. And I know people who support him who won't change their minds now. They could find out that he killed Mother Teresa and they'd still vote for him.

I think you're right about digging up things on Sanders -- it's research they won't have to use. I like Bernie, but there's no way he'll win the nomination.
