Boku wa Ohime-sama ni Narenai and dear lord, my heart can barely deal on chapter to chapter basis. I'm not sure I can survive until it finishes.

Taking a break from Big Two shit to finally catch up on TWD from issue 1 to now. I don't think I've ever gotten past maybe issue 60 or so.

I also need to get caught up on Invincible. That's still going right?

Have felt like re-reading bradherley's coach, lately, so I read the first few chapters. Still beautiful, tragic, poetic and eroguro.
I saw an interview with Samura yesterday in which he said that his current manga has no eroguro because he wants to have kids some day and wouldn't be able to show them anything he's done so far.
I hope it's just hormones and nothing permanent...

Haikyuu!!, One Piece and Skip Beat are the only ones I (still) follow. I catch up with Kuroshitsuji every now and then (so glad to see the end of the werewolf arc), but I'm on a breat atm.

Didn't someone make a secret about that a few days ago?

I visited the comics store recently, so I have a bunch.

Promethea. It's centered around a demi-goddess who can manifest in people who embody her. The cool thing early on in the story that got me interested was our lead can talk to some of the previous Promethea avatars, who all manifested the demi-goddess in different ways.

My favorite part is two thirds of the way through when the protagonist desides to visit the tree of life and it's spheres to better understand Promethea's magic. It's this surreal journey that makes up half the series. It reminds me a bit of Sandman.

***

Sex Criminals. Only the first volume is out, but I like it so far. It's about two people who realised as teens that time stops when they orgasm. Later in life (late twenties? early thirties?) they meet, instantly connect, and are surprised as hell when sexy times climaxs with both of them still moving around. They decide to use their powers for ambigiously good reasons like robbing banks and using the money to save libraries.

My favorite part about the comic is the attention it gives to the leads sexual history and how having this power led to hilarity and awkwardness.

****

Alias. The comic that gave the world Jessica Jones. It's fairly different from the show. Jessica is more involved in the world of superheroes, even though she has still hung up her cape.

I like the show a little better, but the writing in the comic is good.

****

Saga. I was surprised how hooked I was by the series.

The story starts off pretty generic. Two different species, the winged people and the horned people have been fighting for generations. Two of them fall in love and go on the run. When the higher ups discover the woman is pregnant, they try to kill the couple and the baby who symbolize these two peoples can live in harmony together.

What sets this apart are the really likeable side characters, the world building, and how the relationship between the leads develops.

One Piece, Bleach, Assassination Classroom, The Ancient Magus' Bride. Uh, that's about it right now. I want to get back into watching anime though.
