What would you say the point is?

Probably the biggest message was how the role of technology and specifically social media has changed everything (good or bad), including politics. If you look at the situation the government finds itself in during that episode, it's shaped by public opinion which is in turn shaped by technology.

I did grasp that. I admit Waldo was one of the better episodes. But I don't think they did a good job in presenting it. I found the show as subtle as a sledgehammer with largely unsympathetic characters and a completely impassive, accepting populace. People are sheep. I get that point. I've seen it before and while I admit I don't like it, I also think it's been done better.
