Daryl used to be one of my favorite characters, but he fell victim to his own popularity. the writers are afraid to do anything with him that isn't fanservice "BADASS!!!!!" moments, which results in his stagnating, boring personality. bring back season 2 & 3 Daryl, then I'll care if he dies. this unrecognizable long-haired angst greaseball can go.

NA Your feelings used to be my feelings, until the latest episode with Jesus' introduction. He's still greasy af in it, but he's much closer in personality to his early season self, and it's causing a resurgence in my Daryl love. I think it helps that they've paired him up with Rick again --- their relationship is one of the best in the show.

Also, Jesus/Daryl. I ship it. I'd throw Rick in there too, but I'm too joyous about him and Michonne to imagine either of them with anyone else right now.
