I thought you lived in Australia. Is their post that bad everywhere?? how can a developed nation get away with a postal system that runs two months behind 0___0

It's government owned and basically has a monopoly on post. I've been looking at alternatives like toll and austrek (for posting out) but they only do packages. Anything coming in goes through auspol.

There's been a lot of complaints lately so maybe they'll get better but i doubt it. Been getting worse over the years. I'm not even going to bother with christmas cards anymore :/

Wow that's so stupid...in the US we at least have FedEx and UPS to compete with USPS (US Postal Service, government-run) which I think incentivizes the latter to stay on top of its game to a reasonable degree.

Monopolies are the worst. :|
