Oh, it's not anything anyone's saying or doing--I'm just kind of paranoid and self-conscious all the time anyway. Sorry if it came out like I was accusing fandom of hatin fredum or something.

Oh, I'm pretty paranoid and self-conscious myself. But I guess maybe it's just that I have lots of American friends in my fandoms, so we all kinda mutually ignore it.

I know it's about proving it but...ah, so hard to judge on my own if it's any good. And at this point, I'm too paranoid to even let my own friends who participate in Bleach check over the stuff I have.

You'll never get anywhere if you don't try. Open your goddamned word processor, write your fanfic, and stop worrying about whether or not anyone will like it because, say it with me, it's just fanfic and it's always better to get it out there.
