Yeah, now that I think about it, all Aizen pairings except one((So hard to guess, isn't it?)) really annoy me. I really don't mean that in a fanbrattish way, but I just can't see him with anyone. That pairing would be all about the manipulation, yo.

I really think that in some twisted way, he did care for her. Not LOVE, but.... well, I don't think he'd go through all the trouble of making sure he DIDN'T have to kill her if he didn't care in some way. And the way he told Renji about it made me believe that he thought it would be the best for her if she died, rather than go through the pain of living without him. Like he wanted to save her the pain, y'know?

Then again, he might've just been being a bastard there. Ah well.

No, I think he cared for her in a really twisted way. I'm open to the idea of 90% of villains being able to love and care for people - it just doesn't make them any less evil, is the problem.

Agreed very much! Their hearts may be cold and black most of the time, but that doesn't mean they don't work. The traitor Shinigami really proove that point, in my opinion.
