Don't worry, don't worry... I can definitely tolerate that you like Adam. Hell, if we all had the same taste, we'd be killing each oter over the same guy and no one would win!
Sometimes it just gets on my nerves that he receives such raving praise from a lot of people. Even before the season started, he got praised beyond reason, while the girls got bashed. Especially Elle (Kirsten Bel would ruin the show, people said) and Maya (got called the "token Mexican" before she even had one scene, talk about never giving them a chance), Monica got mostly ignored at least...

See I wonder if that praise is old Sark fans from Alias you know? Loving the character+actor before he even had a chance to do anything on the show. I mean sure it's great to support the actor, but for all we know he might have sucked on the show. People didn't like Elle really? Huh wow I guess I avoid the fandom just enough to miss so much, XD then again most of my friendslist loves her so...she did irritate me then she surprised me by having serious character depth. Now I love Elle and I really want her to blow a hole through Sylar's face, Monica has a lot to learn but she has potential, especially with Micah now under her wing and I actually like Maya now.

I'm sure that a lot are old Alias fans... but honestly, if Adam is as great as they claim, then by now Sark should no longer play a role. Anybody who still goes "David Anders must become back - because... Sark!!" is going on my nerves.
Kristen Bell got the opposite development. At first, before her first appearance, there was extreme paranoia, people who hated Veronica Mars and hated that Kristen Bell was friends with Hayden and Zach Quinto and complained each time she was on papparazzi pics with them... seriously, I'm not making this up... but when Elle eventually appeared, she kind of won people over, I guess. The hatred has died down considerably.

Before the season started, the fandom had this vague idea of "We need more female characters", but at the same time complained about the new female characters even before they first appeared on screen (they'll take away precious Petrelli screentime! etc.), and the only new character who was at once met with approval was, oh surprise, the one man. Bleh.

Sounds like you need better Heroes fans to hang out with. I was totally thrilled to see Adam, but I'd fallen in love with Sark ages ago, so. (Poor Maya, I'd never heard that! Ugh.)
