52) Someone call the WAHBULANCE!!! Seriously, I'm so tired of people bitching about what J.K Rowling did wrong in DH. "Oh the humanity! She didn't make my ship canon/The epilogue sucked big floppy donkey dick! Oh my god, just shut the fuck up already!! She's the author, after all. She gets to decide what happens in the books because you know why? It's her story. Not yours. I'm sorry that J.K Rowling can't cater to every single whim to every one of her fans but that's life.

54)I like Hermione but this secret made me Lol. But I can see why she gets on your nerves. Personally, I couldn't stand her during Order of the Phoenix.

Right. And we're the readers. So guess what? We get to complain. When people read/watch/listen to something they don't like, they usually talk about why they don't like it. If people bash a movie because it was crap, do you say "Hey, guess what, Boll was the writer, it's his story and his vision, not yours!"
Well, if you do, that's pretty sad.

Honestly, it's this thing, people always assume that we're mad at JKR because "wah, our ship wasn't canon" or "wah, she didn't do it the way I wanted!"
How about "Wah, the writing in the last two books completely deteriorated to a horrible degree and if the first few books had ben of the same calibre, then this series would've never ever been half so popular as it was!"

And the epilogue. Yeah, actually, it did suck. And I don't mean because it was cute, or because it showed marriages or kids or whatever. It sucked from a pure technical writing aspect. It was poorly written, and poorly (or pointlessly) placed.

But I never see people IRL bitching about the last two books. The sales figures for the last two books seem to counter the idea that the general public has issues with the last two books as well. They're explosively higher than 1-5 and the movies are making a crapload as well. The internet isn't real life sry to say and it's only an itty bitty part of the readership.

The series wouldn't have been as popular as it was if the first few books were like HBP and DH because the general public wouldn't have tried books that lengthy from the get-go.

I didn't say no one allowed to complain over what a crappy book DH was. Of course, you can complain all you want. But when you do it for the umpteenth time, it's gets really annoying. But even then, you still have the right to complain.

But regarding your opinion on why your mad at J.K Rowling, I can totally see where you are coming from. While I enjoyed DH, I thought the 6th book was really bad, and I actually never finished it. But the OP seemed to be lashing out on J.K because she made his/her ship cannon, which, in my opinion, is really petty.

And about the epilogue. I liked it. Of course, it wasn't a fine piece of literature that moved me to tears and there were also stuff in it that didn't make any since (Albus Serverus? Hugo? What in the ever loving fuck?)but I liked it. And that's my opinion. You, on the other hand, though it was a flamming piece of shit because it was badly written. And that's your opinion. I actually wasn't defending the epilogue. I was just using that as an example.
