Rambling is indeed fun. ^^;

And that part's difficult. Actually quite a bit of 'who she is' makes things hard to tell. Like...well, she's at least once said she's bi, or alluded to it. It was a while ago, like back shortly after we went to an anime convention together, so sometime last year. Anyway, she's said/alluded to, but 90% of the time unless she's making some joking comment, she strikes me as completely asexual. She hardly ever seems like she's interested in some one, never talks about wanting/having a significant other or even going on dates. So that in itself is just CONFUSING to the inth degree, cause it makes me wonder why I'm even attracted to her. That in itself is totally not my type.

She is a very good person, though, and incredibly understanding. Intelligent, honest...hell, a lot of really good traits. Which should be an indication that hey, if anything, maybe she'd at least let me down easy, right?

But I've been in situations before where some one who I thought was like that, who could - regardless of life morals and religion and whatever - still be understanding about my own personal choices and way of life, and they turned around and shocked the shit out of me by telling me I was 'wrong' by being that way.

I think too much about the 'what ifs', and a huge what if is "What if in that situation she's not the person I thought she was?"

Also, the other guy, the first one, it was a progression that took a while for him to actively stop talking to me, and it took nearly a year total, but I couldn't help but feel that as soon as I became 'real' to him and it wasn't just about the RP anymore his feelings had already shifted, even if he was being nice by still being on speaking terms and never saying it aloud. Does... that make sense?

Well, whenever I make jokes, they usually are a little true, seeing as they have to come from somewhere. I've joked about my friend irl being annoying, when really, she is pretty annoying, for example.

Those are really good traits. Intelligent and honest, I think, are definitely two of the best.

There's nothing 'wrong' about being that way! :\ ;;; I guess it all gets down to how well the person can handle a confession, if they can be understanding, or make the person confessing feel even worse about feeling that way. And how much you trust that person you're attracted to, regardless of past situations which can be hard to not use as a reference.

Yeah, I kinda thought it would have took a long time for him to stop talking with you.

His main fault was that he had a difficult time facing things directly. He was so against any kind of confrontation that he was more likely to just sit and wait for things to end than to actually take a stand and try to either solve the problem or walk away from it. In the end, its a good thing we DIDN'T get together, as that would have driven me insane, but it didn't make it hurt any less.

The other craptastic thing (I was thinking about this last night right after I responded...) is distance. She's about... five hours away from me now. Used to be shorter, but I moved. She's really comfortable in her life, where she's at right now, and I highly doubt she'd move for me. And I have the wonderful problem of not being able to be on my own right now because I screwed up so bad financially this last year. I'm where I'm at because I'm going to start school here in the fall, and I'd like to stay the full four years because I know for certain that this school has exactly what I need. As much as I care about her, there's just such a high chance that neither of us could or wants to give up what we have right now, for various reasons.

If she feels the same way about you, I'm sure she'd be able to arrange ways to meet with you. :D; Hm, an excellent school really is not a good thing to give up.. there's not much I can say about that, seeing as I've never been in a situation like that. There is always the chance, though, that you could have more of a long-distance relationship, and if you both still were to feel the same years from now, then things could get more serious. Dunno, that's quite the tight spot you're in. :\

I know. XD; Its so sad that I can wind up in these situations so frequently. Ah, tis life I suppose. One way or another I'll figure SOMETHING out, even if its just forgetting about it. Thanks for listening. ^^ <3
