They can ship whatever they want, but we like to avoid the ones who are going to get all offended if the rest of us just don't realize that Azula/Zombie Jet is the bestest fluff ship ever.

There's a difference between avoiding a ship and its shippers and actively attacking Azula/Jet shippers, sending their blogs hate, openly accusing them of being terrible people, and hounding them off the Internet.

The latter is more the issue.

They can do both if they accept that media and reality have a few intersections, or resume living in "because I said so" land if they don't. And I'm referring to the most general comments people say about shipping tendencies, not people personally bashing or spamming specific shippers, and don't act like shipping wars aren't caused by the former being overreacted to at least half as often as the latter being an issue.
