Seriously, this is about their mom's fanfic habits, not her credit card PIN. If you think my not finding it creepy that OP is curious & goes looking when their mom isn't well versed enough in the internet to clear her history makes me as an entire person in all matters always untrustworthy, that's on you.

And as someone else in this thread mentioned, not looking wouldn't solve the problem forever because their mom also leaves tabs open on the tablet.

For all either of us know, OP only goes looking whenever they're searching the history for sites they've visited recently in the past but forgot the name of.

THANK YOU! I feel exactly the same way. Also, this is OP's mom we're talking about, which for me makes it different. I was never much of a snoop when I was younger, but even so, snooping on our parents strikes me as an extremely normal developmental behavior - particularly when it comes to tangible proof of their sexuality.
