Elementary is the only procedural I watch, I'm not much of a fan of them tbh.

That's my favorite current show. I think it's a great balance between procedural and character-driven. Mostly procedural, so I don't get worn out trying to keep track of things or investing so much emotional energy in the characters, but with enough character development on a regular basis that I still care about the charactets and don't get bored if an episode is more character-driven than normal. Plus, I find the mysteries interesting and I like the odd bits of Holmseian stuff thrown in in weird ways, like the phrase "a study in charlotte."

Yeah, this is the reason why I like it as well, it's a nice balance and it helps that I like all the characters as well so I don't mind keeping up with it.
