Right, but was it really "flipping shit", or was it giving snarky responses to the idea of Snape being someone's one true love (and as I recall, the OP self-identified with Hermoine, too). The only one I remember who seemed to be getting really mad and defensive was an actual Snape fan. Others might've been a bit dickish but that's kind of the community rapport. We respond to secrets that have been posted and give our opinions about shit, so it doesn't really strike me as anything unusual or somehow imbalanced.

Anyway, either way it's a bit different than a scenario of someone saying, "Yo, I ship Snape/Hermoine, no shame" and everyone freaking out at them over that.
