Last time I checked, Tajiri had it planned out up through gen 10. I think we'll get at least a few more years out of this thing. c:

Gold and Silver were planned to be the last installments, but the series was more popular than they could have imagined and Tajiri's been out of the public eye since FRLG, iirc.
