What about Bedknobs and Broomsticks? It's a silly Disney film that mixes live action and animation. Try looking for other movies that came out around the same time.

Op: Maybe but the last time I tried to watch Up with her she thought I was being condescending (I'm not senile I don't need to watch kids movies). The other guidelines came from watching Lord of the Rings (why are they catapulting peoples heads over the walls) and the most recent great gatsby film (what is this music, I hate it there is to much base).

Haha, I'm laughing because I know how old people can be, nearly impossibly to please! I'm lucky that my one great-aunt is probably the coolest old person and watched Mean Girls with us and didn't say anything at all.

Has she watched Titanic? It's an epic movie and fairly long so hopefully it'd keep her attention long enough.

Believe it or not but this is the more progressive of my grandmothers. The other one thought poirot was to violent.

On the titanic: she had this big titanic poster so I think she has watched it. I haven't though so it might be a good idea. She would probably like sharing this with me.
